Comments:
I grew up with a teacher for a father with a Masters Degree that taught me a lot, before I was 14. He taught Wood Shop, Math, History, Art, Blue Printing,
Electrical, Electronics, Building Homes for Jim Walter (His Banker, and well known as Jim Walter Homes, with my fathers Blue Print home designs). I had a
lot to live up to, but with his help, and other teacher during the summer, I managed to learn a lot more than he was teaching. I was mixed with a lot of
teacher with his challenge to teach me something he didn't, and I loved to learn. I even passed Chemistry in the 8th grade. I learned more than he could ever
teach, but didn't have the credits, or degrees. A school I attented burned my records, and kicked me out of school, after they made money on my art at an Art
Center. I know it is not legal and they should not get away with it, but Who wants to fight them, and I know it wouldn't change anything. So I started working
as a self employed carpenter, and used everything I knew, and more. Then one day I took the GED and passed over 20 years later, without any studing for it.
I am currently out of work with all my skills, so I am thinking of working for myself again, and take the General Contractors test to get my Licence for North
Carolina. I will still do my art, and you will see some of my 3D objects on Daz3d.com for sale. I guess it is better than becoming a Loss Prevention Associate, or
working as a sales attendant at Lowes, when it would be lucky for me to get a job. I think it would be best not to rely on others for work, because they think I
don't know anything, when I have done just about everything. One manager didn't hire me because he didn't think I could do anything that was simple, but that
was the first time that ever happened. Maybe after I get my Licence I will apply for State Inspector, because the job has been open for a long time.
